TechniqueName: climb, pounce, folded elbow,

Also named diezhou xiaoDengPu (small paving heel kick)

Quan pu states this technique as "蹬𨁏右叠肘 (deng pu you die zhou - kick leg, right stacking elbow)". die zhou (stacking elbow) is a technique name from the ba zhou fa (eight elbow methods) indicationg an elbow strike from above. But in this posture, there seems to be an error in the written records. Deng pu die (登撲跌) has the same pronounciation but different characters. Its meaning is: "Extending takedown; type of takedown that puts the leg between an adversarys legs, ten extending with power thrusting into the heel" (from falk dictionary of martial arts). Deng (登) is generally used to indicate techniques using the heel . This description matches the assigned application and the posture expression. Maybe the written records used the wrong chinese characters because a technique which sounded similar already existed in mantis (die zhou). The Luo Guan Yu quan pu is using the other characters, mentioned in the falk dictionary for a heel sweep
