TechniqueName: powerful, chop, magnificient, Mountain, <br><br>Some QuanPu state, that this technique uses the concept of Tai Shan Ya Ding ('press on top of mount tai' = use pressure from above) is one of the 8 hard methods of tang lang quan <br><br>Sometimes, this technique is also called 'the stars fall down' in relation to one of the 72 qin na techniques of shaolin (see below for details). <br>The Chinese characters are describing the general idiom 流星趕月 liu xing gan yue: <br>The idiom generally means "lit. a meteor catching up with the moon" or "a comet is chasing the moon"<br>the idiom literally means "swift action" or in context of shaolin kungfu: "pressing attacks",<br>In the 72 qin na techniques of shaolin there is a technique(nr 55) with similar name: "天 星 落 地 手 如敵出一手來擊,可用一手下歷敵手, 另一 手成拳由上向 下直砸敵頂門,可將敵搫倒。" (Stars fall to the ground Hand If the enemy strikes with one hand, you can use one hand to hit the opponent, and the other hand makes a fist to hit the enemy's door from top to bottom to knock down the enemy.). <br><br>Also known as: "弓步刁劈捶<br>GōngBù diāo PīChuí<br>Bow step, hook & chop (Split the mountain)" <br><br> <br><br> <br><br> <br><br>
